ABOUT PETER LAITMON
Peter Laitmon is a marketing and sales executive with nearly four decades of experience in the domestic and international marketplace. Over the years he has been instrumental in developing new product launches, line extensions, and re-launching of existing brands. He has worked for domestic firms and for foreign-based global companies (many in Europe and the Far East) focused on expanding distribution throughout North America.
Early in his career Peter Laitmon worked for several leading ad agencies and product marketers, including Grey Advertising, J.Walter Thompson, and Bristol-Myers. In 1969, he formed a partnership and developed the initial Franchise Program for "Sbarro: The Italian Eatery". The logo he designed for Sbarro is still used around the world.
Peter Laitmon's experience with advertising agencies and package goods marketing has proved invaluable, first when he diversified into corporate barter, and later when he became President and CEO of the Revco Drug Stores' closeout division.
In 2000, Laitmon was chosen by Italian vehicle maker Piaggio to be the company's U.S. rep, leading the enormously-successful initiative that re-launched the Vespa motor scooter in the United States after a nearly 20-year absence from this market.
The result of the above provides unique value for all PLI clients, providing the most professional of choices and options to enhance the undertaking of any and all initiatives.
